Eight Days Praise and Celebration

The LORD said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days. The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work. For seven days present food offerings to the LORD, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the LORD. It is the closing special assembly; do no regular work.

This eight day celebration of giving of ourselves and the very best first fruits to God.

Located at 24th & Grandview Blvd in Sioux City, Iowa

Festival Daily Schedule

Highlighted Dates and Times: 2025

Day 1: Decorate Sukka – Monday October 6th at 7:00pm

Day 6: Communion (the community breaking bread) Saturday – October 11th at 7:00pm

Day 1-8: Worship and Water Pouring Celebration (symbolic ceremony referencing John 7:37-39). Bring your own meal – 12-2:00pm and 5-7:00pm

Day 7: Potluck and Parade of Nations –  Sunday October 12th from 12:30-2:30pm –we provide lamb and chicken, please bring a side dish (no pork or shellfish), i.e. bread, rice, fruit, vegetables and deserts.

Everyday: Monday October 6th through October 13th – Plus the Highlighted

9:00-10:00am            Prayer

10:00-11:00am          Worship & Praise

11:00-12:00pm          Speaker

12:00-2:00pm            Picnic Lunch – Bring our own

2:00-5:00pm              Torah Procession, (Bible) Reading, Menorah Lighting & Water Libation 

5:00-7:00pm              Dinner – Bring your own

7:00-7:30pm              Build Tent (Sukkot)Worship & Praise

7:30 -8:30pm             Speaker

8:30 – 9:30pm           Worship
